An Easter reflection written by the Rev. Canon Dr. Esau McCaulley was published in the New York Times recently, and it caught the attention of CEDEPCA staff. “We need more than celebration; we need unsettling presence,” McCaulley wrote. “The work Jesus left his followers to do includes showing compassion and forgiveness and contending for a more just society.”
